Government personnel attempt to contain Karen after she's infected with a new muscle-growth mutation of the energy, and Luna equips a new decom suit to bring her back but it breaks and Karen escapes.

Luna Masters is picked up with the rest of the group in the Nevada Desert and returned to Killian A.F.B. After Karen Summers undergoes a Giga Transformation and leaves for Downtown Killian. Luna goes after Karen in a Protoype Decom Suit that doubles the amount of energy she can absorb. She successfully decoms Karen but subsequently starts leaking energy from the suit and unleashes a feedback loop on Downtown Killian. Luna grows out of her suit reaching equal height to Karen. Luna and Trisha Hubert attempt to decom and shrink Karen but fail and Karen flees the area to go shrink back down.
